Where is everyone?

There were things I was going to do this weekend that I did not and could not do: a football game, for one, and camping with my extended family, for two. But when life gives you a migraine you:

  • Clean the apartment
  • Vacuum the furniture
  • Take out the trash
  • Watch season 5 of Scrubs
  • Grocery Shop
  • Bake a coffee cake
  • Get an old laptop to get online in DOS
  • Make one mistake and ruin the whole laptop with a working OS deal
  • Uninstall a floppy drive and install a different one
  • Write a couple of blog entries
  • Sweep the apartment
  • Do laundry
  • Get rid of the migraine
  • Go for an hour scooter ride looking for a Money Mart or Western Union that is open now to wire money to a friend in need
  • Talk with my brother in BC
  • read
  • do a crossword
  • And buy a scented candle

    • That’s right. I am a nerd on a scooter who bakes, does laundry, cleans, takes out the trash, reads, cares for family and friends, and likes things to smell nice. I also get migraines.

    Oh, and girls, I also am single. And, right now, am a bit lonely.
