Dion: because doing nothing is doing something
Dion is openly critical but only if it means he does not have to do anything.

Liberal Leader Stephane Dion has already indicated if his amendment is defeated, which is likely, then the Liberals will abstain from voting on the main throne speech.
That would ensure its passage.
or, in other words: Dion does not like the Conservative’s agenda but if it doesn’t change then he will let it be and will not voice an opinion where it actually matters.
